The Board of Appeals conducts administrative hearings for appealed city determinations. These two-day workshops will allow interested youth to learn about the hearing process and review cases on the first day and to attend an actual hearing at City Hall on the second day.

The Rent Board conducts mediations, hearings and provides counseling on the Rent Ordinance. The Rent Ordinance controls how much the rent can be increased and why tenants can be evicted in the majority of rentals in San Francisco. During the tour, you will see staff providing services to the public and will see some of the issues that come up for staff and the public as they try to find solutions to housing problems.
